Smart electronic cylinder locks for standalone access control

Smartloxx electronic cylinder locks provide a convenient way to introduce keyless access control to individual doors. Designed for Euro-profile cylinder slots, the system combines an electronic double-knob cylinder with flexible access management through a smartphone app.

Because Smartloxx is wireless and battery-powered, there is no need to install mains power or data cabling at the door. This makes it a practical choice for upgrading existing doors with minimal disruption, particularly where a complete networked access control system is not required.

Flexible keyless entry for different users

Smartloxx gives users several ways to unlock the door. Access can be granted using:

• A MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 or EV3 card or tag
• A programmable SmartCode touch pattern
• A compatible smartphone

This flexibility allows each site to choose the most appropriate opening method for its users. Cards and tags provide familiar contactless access, while smartphone entry offers a convenient alternative to physical credentials.

Access permissions can be configured according to the time of day and day of the week. The system can store up to 3,000 credentials and log the last 3,000 opening events, helping authorised administrators manage access and review activity at the door.

An adjustable electronic cylinder for Euro-profile doors

The Smartloxx SL1 modular cylinder system is designed to accommodate different door dimensions. Cylinder length can be adjusted in 2.5 mm increments using the appropriate half-shell components, allowing installers to configure the cylinder for a wide range of door thicknesses.

The cylinder fits directly into a compatible Euro-profile cylinder slot, providing a straightforward route from mechanical keys to electronic access control. Its wireless design also makes it suitable for doors where installing additional cables or separate access control equipment would be difficult or disruptive.
