About Door Holders
Magnetic holders for doors provide a reliable solution for keeping doors in an open position for longer periods of time. They’re particularly useful when a door is secured for controlled access sometimes, but open for free access at other times. For example, a school may keep an entrance locked after normal school hours except for access by cleaners. But while the students are entering and exiting en masse each day, the door may be kept open to allow them to pass smoothly and easily.
Our door holders use the robust power of electrified magnets to keep doors in place. The magnet is mounted at the bottom of the door on the floor or on the wall at the point the door the door reaches when fully open. An accompanying armature plate is fitted to the door leaf. When activated, the magnets power up and hold the door in the fully open position.
