The BEACON CTBC card credential carries BLE 4.2 Bluetooth technology. It is compatible with the SEL2641R433-BWE BEACON receiver.
Operation
The card transmits a signal to the receiver once every second. This AES128 encrypted signal consists of the card’s serial number as well as other data. The receiver converts the card’s serial number to either Wiegand format (26, 30, or 44 bit) or to OSDP protocol. The receiver analyses and decrypts the received signal. Once verified, the serial number is sent onwards to the Wiegand bus (or the OSDP connection).
