Can you describe a magnet as ‘elegant’? Well, we’re going to. These are good-looking maglocks that look sleek and discreet in a huge range of environments. They also include a translucent side-cap that makes them easily visible from a long way away thanks to backlighting. With multi-coloured LEDs to indicate the status of the lock, you’ll know instantly whether it’s locked or not.
Did we also mention how quiet they are? There’s no mechanical kick-off built into the flat frame, which means they’re almost completely silent when in operation.
Putting safety at the heart of everything
Safety is obviously essential for door access installations – but you already knew that. What you might not know is that the V Series maglocks do not have any sharp corners, which significantly reduces the risk of head injuries with low doors (or tall users). The magnets are also fitted with safety ropes as standard. The ropes prevent the magnet from unhooking due to vibrations in the physical environment.
This series is also adaptable to many specialist installation environments. The magnets are fire rated for 30 minutes and suitable for use with emergency exit doors.
Reliable maglocks from 30 years of experience & heritage
Not all maglocks are created equal. That much is certain. Our V Series is the result of more than 30 years of industry experience, and we are confident in the quality of these magnets. Every single magnet that we produce has its pull-out resistance tested individually before it leaves the factory. If it doesn’t meet the robust 300 daN standard, it’s rejected. If it’s not good enough for us, then it certainly isn’t good enough for our customers.
Moreover, the V Series comes with an electronic anti-remanence feature. We’ve tested this to an incredible five million cycles with zero failure. Even after five million operations, these maglocks still produce a full release in under 300 milliseconds. Pretty good, right?
