The UK OSPAs announced the finalists of the 2019 awards at a networking reception held at International Security Expo on Wednesday 28th November 2018. See the full list of finalists here.

Now in their third year, the UK OSPAs serve to acknowledge the creditable and infinite contributions that companies, initiatives, teams and individuals make to the security industry and wider community.  The awards recognise exceptional performance in different categories.

The standard of entries this year has again been really high making the judging process as difficult as ever” commented Professor Martin Gill, Founder of the OSPAs. “Those that have been selected were marked independently by the judging panel and all reached a score threshold – ensuring they represent the very best in the industry.

CDVI is nominated in two categories:

Outstanding Security Training Initiative – For the numerous training sessions and opportunities offered both in-house and at distributors/installers premises. The training courses, led by Ian Oakley, helped establish a higher standard of installations for Access Control and Door Automation, thanks to interactive courses designed for installers to get the best out of CDVI products with the minimum fuss. The brand new course “Basic Access Control and Electric Locking” was developped with the installer’s in mind and succeeded in attracting more qualified installers to the Standalone and Online Access Control markets.

Outstanding Equipment Manufacturer – For our constant efforts to become the installer’s choice from the simple keypad to the most sophisticated access control system. CDVI products are designed to integrate seamlessly with other systems to ensure installers can offer the end user systems that are reliable, robust and resilient to any physical or cyber-attacks, whilst being compliant with all relevant standards (IP and IK ratings, EN16005 and En1634-1 standards, remote electronics, 10-year warranty…)

Finalists will now go forward to the next phase of the competition and winners will be announced at the OSPAs awards dinner taking place on Thursday, 28th February 2019 at the Royal Lancaster London.
