ROBIN CHALLENGE
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. This promotion is
intended to operate in the United Kingdom as a free prize draw.
1. Promoter
The promoter is CDVI Limited, company number 3719229, whose registered office is at Unit B1,
Knaves Beech Business Centre, Loudwater, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP10 9QR
(the âPromoterâ).
Robin is a brand/product range associated with the CDVI group. For this UK and Ireland
Promotion, the Promoter identified above is responsible for administration of the draw and
fulfilment of the UK and Ireland prize.
2. Promotion Period
The Robin Challenge UK and Ireland prize draw (the âPromotionâ) opens at 09:00 British
Summer Time on 1 October 2026 and closes at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time on 30 November
2026 (the âPromotion Periodâ).
Entries received before the opening time or after the closing time will not be accepted. The
Promoterâs computer system will be the official timekeeping device for online entries.
3. Eligibility
The Promotion is open to individuals who, at the time of entry:
â¢are aged 18 or over;
â¢are resident in the United Kingdom and Ireland;
â¢work professionally in, or are professionally connected with, the security, access control, physical
security, building technology, IT/networking, intercom or a closely related industry; and
â¢comply with these Official Rules.
Employees, officers and directors of the Promoter, CDVI group companies, and agencies or
suppliers directly involved in administering the Promotion, together with members of their
immediate household, are not eligible to enter.
The Promoter may request reasonable evidence of age, residence, professional eligibility and
identity before awarding a prize.
4. How to Enter
During the Promotion Period, an eligible entrant must visit the UK Robin Challenge landing page
at [INSERT URL], complete the online entry form, provide the requested entry information,
answer the Robin Challenge engagement questions, accept these Official Rules and submit the
form before the closing time.
No purchase, payment or previous purchase of any CDVI or Robin product is required. Standard
internet or mobile data charges imposed by an entrantâs own provider may apply, but the
Promoter does not impose an entry charge.
The Robin Challenge questions are engagement/research questions only. Answers are not
scored and do not increase or reduce an entrantâs chance of winning.
5. Entry Limit
Maximum one entry per eligible person during the Promotion Period. Entries made through
multiple email addresses, identities or accounts by the same person may be treated as
duplicate entries and disqualified.
Entries generated by automated means, scripts, bots or other methods designed to circumvent
the entry limit are prohibited.
6. Prize
There is one UK prize: one Robin Touch SIP intercom with an approximate recommended retail
value of £1,885.
There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferable, except that the Promoter may
substitute the advertised prize with a product of equal or greater value if circumstances outside
the Promoterâs reasonable control make the advertised prize unavailable.
Unless expressly stated above, installation, configuration, ancillary equipment, network
services and any other costs associated with use of the prize are not included.
7. Winner Selection
One winner will be selected from all valid and eligible UK and Ireland entries by 7 December
2026.
The winner will be selected in accordance with the laws of chance using a computer process
capable of producing verifiably random results. The Promoter will retain reasonable records
demonstrating the method used and the result. If a verifiably random computer process is not
used, the selection will be carried out by, or under the supervision of, a demonstrably
independent person.
Each valid entry will have an equal chance of selection. The odds of winning depend on the
number of valid entries received.
8. Winner Notification and Claim
The Promoter will contact the selected winner using the email address and/or telephone
number supplied with the entry, normally within five working days after selection.
The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the selected winner. The winner must
respond within seven days of the Promoterâs first notification and provide any information
reasonably required to verify eligibility and arrange delivery.
If the selected winner cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts, does not respond within
the stated period, is ineligible, has breached these Official Rules or declines the prize, the
Promoter may withdraw the prize from that entrant and select an alternative winner using the
same random process.
9. Prize Delivery
Subject to successful verification and receipt of the information reasonably required for
delivery, the Promoter will arrange delivery to a valid UK address at no charge to the winner,
normally within 30 days of the winner confirming acceptance.
If delivery is expected to take longer than 30 days, the Promoter will tell the winner the
expected delivery date as soon as reasonably practicable.
10. Winner Information and Publicity
To demonstrate that a valid award has taken place, the Promoter intends to publish or
otherwise make available information relating to the winner, ordinarily the winnerâs surname
and county, for a reasonable period after the prize has been awarded.
Entrants may object to publication of this information, or request that the amount of
information published be reduced, by contacting Rebecca.mehta@cdvi.co.uk before the closing
date or when notified as winner. The Promoter will consider such requests in accordance with
applicable law and the CAP Code.
Even where a winner objects to publication, the Promoter may be required to provide relevant
winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority if challenged.
Any photograph, testimonial, interview, social-media content or other post-event publicity
involving the winner will be separately agreed with the winner and will not be a condition of
receiving the prize.
11. Personal Data
The Promoter will process personal data submitted in connection with the Promotion for
purposes including administering the Promotion, validating entries, preventing fraud or abuse,
selecting and contacting the winner, delivering the prize, demonstrating that a valid award
took place, handling queries and complaints, and complying with legal and regulatory
obligations.
The Promoter will process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law and the
privacy information made available at or before entry. The UK privacy notice for this Promotion
is available at https://www.cdvi.co.uk/about-us/privacy-policy/.
The entry form must identify the relevant data controller, purposes and lawful bases,
categories of recipients, applicable international transfers, retention arrangements, individual
rights and contact details for privacy enquiries.
12. Marketing Communications
Entry is not conditional on agreeing to receive marketing.
Where the Promoter invites entrants to receive marketing by email, SMS or other electronic
means, any consent request will be presented separately from acceptance of these Official
Rules and will require a clear affirmative opt-in. Marketing boxes must not be pre-ticked.
An entrant who chooses not to receive marketing will have exactly the same opportunity to
enter and win as an entrant who opts in. Marketing consent may be withdrawn at any time
using the unsubscribe method provided or by contacting Rebecca.mehta@cdvi.co.uk.
Data supplied solely for administration of the Promotion will not be treated as consent to direct
marketing.
13. Disqualification and Verification
The Promoter may reject or disqualify an entry where it reasonably believes that the entrant is
ineligible; has supplied false, inaccurate or misleading information; has submitted more than
one entry; has used automated, fraudulent or manipulative methods; has interfered with the
operation of the Promotion; or has otherwise materially breached these Official Rules.
The Promoter will exercise any disqualification power reasonably, proportionately and
consistently and will not withhold a prize for a condition that was not clearly disclosed to
entrants.
14. Technical Problems
The Promoter is not responsible for an entry that is not successfully completed or received
because of a technical fault, equipment failure, network failure or other circumstance outside
its reasonable control.
Nothing in this clause permits the Promoter to avoid responsibility for failures within its
reasonable control or its obligation to administer the Promotion fairly.
15. Changes, Suspension or Cancellation
The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion only where exceptional
circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary or where required by law or a
competent authority.
Any change will be limited to what is reasonably necessary, will be communicated
appropriately, and will not be made in a way that unfairly disadvantages entrants who have
already participated. The Promoter will, so far as reasonably possible, preserve the legitimate
expectations of existing entrants.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Official Rules excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by
negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be
excluded or limited.
Subject to the preceding sentence, the Promoter will not be responsible for losses that were not
reasonably foreseeable when the entrant entered the Promotion or that arise from
circumstances outside the Promoterâs reasonable control.
Nothing in these Official Rules affects any mandatory statutory rights that apply to an entrant.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Official Rules and the Promotion are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without
depriving an entrant resident in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland of any mandatory
protections available under the law applicable to them.
Entrants may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which they
reside, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Complaints and Contact
Questions or complaints about the Promotion should be sent to Rebecca.mehta@cdvi.co.uk or
to: Robin Challenge, CDVI Limited, Unit B1, Knaves Beech Business Centre, Loudwater, High
Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP10 9QR.
The Promoter will retain appropriate records of the Promotion and will seek to resolve
complaints fairly and promptly.
