VHES 'No Touch' Exit Switch
This device is designed to be installed on a door exit route for the purposes of unlocking an electronically secured door. The operation requires a hand placing in front of the unit to activate the infra red sensor. When this detection takes place the internal relay will change state momentarily. The relay can be connected to any access control system input as a conventional exit (egress) switch would be. The VHES is ideal for non-contact exit applications or where high usage is expected.
Green Emergency Break Glass
Two new Break Glass Emergency Door Exit Releases have been introduced to the range. One with a traditiona
l break / replaceable glass and one resetable unit. Both are supplied with a test key to ensure simplicity in selection. Both units come with double pole contacts further simplifying selection. These products should always be fitted on emergency exit doors on the secured side whenever a fail safe (power locked) locking device is installed.
CDVI All Active Exit Switch
The RTE-TEX range from CDVI offers heavy duty exit switches with the added advantage of complying with the standards of the DDA for switch activation.
The RTE-TEX range is all-active, which means that pressure
to any area of the faceplate will cause the switch to activate - rather than a specific target area, as found in traditional exit switches.
As well as being a convenient exit switch, suitable for heavy traffic, the unit is ideal for applications where the users are not dexterous and have difficulty “targeting” a central push button - especially suitable for applications which need to be compliant with the DDA.
Two designs are offered on the faceplate - text only, stating
“PUSH TO RELEASE ” or text plus the wheelchair logo. The RTE-TEX range is universal as flush or surface - both constructed in high grade stainless steel.
Special Exit Device
Special Exit Devices are used when special exit requirements need to be met. This is essential for Disabled Exit / Entry control and for when compliance with the DDA (Disabilities & Discrimination Act) must be achieved.
These high quality switches are mainly manufactured from stainless steel and have high frequency use and longevity as their watch words. Many dimensional styles exist with various mounting styles.
