Technical Notes
TN1: Making an RS232 connection lead to the first Centaur controller.
The Centaur RS232 lead consists of 2 female DB9 serial connectors from the PC to the first Centaur controller. The master lead has 3 connections and can be a maximum of 25 feet in length.
TN2: Problems connecting when using RS232 conection to only one Centaur controller.
If you have problems connecting to the master Centaur controller over RS232. First check that you have the correct Baud Rate selection on both PC & controller. To the left of the RS232 connection on the controller is a 3-pin jumper link, make sure the link is connected to the LOW setting.
